In 2022, MNN launched the Nonprofit Strategies Forum series, a members-only virtual meeting group. This series provides a platform for nonprofit professionals to connect, network, and address pressing topics.
The first session focused on Workforce Development—tackling the challenges faced by nonprofit organizations in retaining staff and filling vacancies. It opened by asking a few participants to share their experiences and challenges related to workforce development. It was followed by a round-robin discussion (moderated by MNN CEO Jim Klocke) about solutions to those challenges and opportunities going forward.
Our second session, titled “1 Plus 1 Can Make 3: Partnerships, Alliances and Other Ways to Expand Your Impact”, focused on building strategic alliances. Led by David Harris of Interim Executive Solutions, the discussion was designed for nonprofit decision-makers.
Each Forum session will offer a unique opportunity to engage with peers, share insights, and collaborate on solutions. By connecting with fellow professionals, we can address the root causes and impacts of sector issues, while exploring innovative strategies to combat them.
