Every year, MNN honors the passion and impact of nonprofit professionals and organizations in the state’s nonprofit sector with the Nonprofit Excellence Awards presented by Citizens. The Nonprofit Excellence Awards are presented to six nonprofit organizations and employees that exemplify the most innovative, creative, and effective work being done throughout the Commonwealth.
Event
This year’s ceremony will take place on the evening of June 12, 2024 at the New England Aquarium. Hundreds of nonprofit professionals, organizations, affiliate businesses, and supporters are expected to gather to celebrate the sector. Doors open at 5:45 pm for networking and a happy hour, followed by the commencement of the award program at 6:30 pm. The program will draw to a close at 8:00 pm, leaving us inspired and uplifted. Awards will be distributed to individuals and nonprofit organizations in the following six categories:
Excellence in Advocacy
Excellence in Innovation
Excellence in Leadership
Excellence in Community-Building (new this year!)
Excellence by a Small Nonprofit
Excellence by a Young Professional
All nominees will receive recognition at this year’s event, in addition to the finalists and award winners. The nominations review process is currently underway. Stay tuned for more information.
