Please join us to learn more about the exciting new FEMA program that can benefit your organization: Organizations Preparing for Emergency Needs (OPEN). This webinar targets community-based organizations that want to prepare for disasters. This class will help community leaders identify risks, learn essential preparedness actions, and locate available resources to execute preparedness.

The OPEN course introduces preparedness actions that can empower local agencies to take the necessary steps to prepare their organizations for incidents. The interactive course will feature small group discussions, and shared best practices from other participants. We encourage participants from local food pantries, councils on aging, faith-based entities, small businesses, homeless shelters, and other entities that need to resume operations as rapidly as possible after a disaster to attend. Zoom information will be sent via email in advance of the program. Register here

Practical examples of developing and implementing Covid-19 occupational health & safety programs
How to obtain more information, resources, and support for workplace health & safety programs in the nonprofit sector

In addition to reviewing the basics of Covid-19 scientific and medical information, the presenters will address, among other topics: the principles of infection control applicable to the workplace; operation-specific reopening guidelines; and practical aspects of safely returning to work during the pandemic. Questions will be encouraged and addressed as possible throughout, with additional opportunity for Q & A at the end. Register here.
