Opportunities to Get Involved
Speak Up to Oppose the Save Act!
Utilize Nonprofit Vote’s sample messaging to let your Senators know that you oppose the Save Act, which effectively ends all nonprofit-led voter registration drives, ends online and mail-in registration by forcing voters to go in-person to election offices, and disenfranchises tens of millions of eligible voters who either don’t have ready access to birth certificates or passports, or can’t easily get to an actual elections office. The bill passed the House on April 10 and is currently in the Senate.
Speak Up About Saving PSLF!
The Department of Education initiated the process to begin the negotiated rule-making on various programs including Public Service Loan Forgiveness. This process could drastically impact the program, and we encourage you to make your voice heard!
You can sign up to make comments during the IN-PERSON hearing on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 or during the VIRTUAL hearing on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
