Job Description

The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is currently hiring a School District Liaison (SDL) for their Special Education in Institutional Settings (SEIS) contract. The SDL collaborates with school districts, host agencies and SEIS staff; putting the appropriate services in place so that students successfully transition in and out of SEIS (into their next educational setting). Massachusetts teaching license required; special education license preferred; Educators in SEIS schools are part of the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System. Successful candidates may be eligible for loan forgiveness. Travel is required.

Highlights of What You Will Do:

Coordinate meetings and communicate with school district personnel, ESE, CES and host agency staff.

Ensure school districts develop, propose, support and implement IEPs in accordance with timelines and regulations.

Work with host agency coordinators to help facilitate communication between teachers and districts regarding student progress.
