RN/LPN
Full-time/35 hours per week
This could be the job for you if you are currently registered with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing or currently a Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts. Have at least one year’s experience monitoring the general health and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities. Demonstrated working knowledge of medications utilized for seizure disorders and behavior problems and knowledge of local medical resources.
Responsible for dispensing and documenting medications administered to individuals attending the day program. Maintaining medical records and communicating with the Manager and Case Manager regarding medical issues. Provide direct care and in-service training in relevant medical and health care issues, and coordinate medical services with each consumer’s primary physician or medical clinic.
