Director, Quality Program

Reports to: Senior Director of Operations

Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a new, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) governed by FQHCs. Our mission is to leverage the collective strengths of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) to improve the health and wellness of the people we serve.

 

This position provides leadership and oversight of the organization's Quality Program, including, but not limited to: identifying strategic quality improvement opportunities, developing and managing the organization's annual quality plan, ensuring the adoption of quality plans and goals at FQHCs, and meeting regulatory requirements for the quality program. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Develops and leads C3 quality plan to meet or exceed organization's quality goals
Ensures adoption of quality improvement initiatives at C3 and FQHCs
Closely monitors annual ACO-wide performance on quality goals
Identifies opportunities to improve quality performance through data improvements, business process improvements, and clinical interventions
Drives remediation plans if performance does not meet goal
Designs strategic analyses to identify new opportunities for improvement
Oversees regulatory requirements for quality
Plans and oversees annual chart review process; optimizes outcomes
Maintains positive relationship with regulators to advance questions and issues
Develops and maintains quality program documentation, including policies and procedures, annual operating plan, and quality improvement work plans
Leads cross-functional quality working groups and supports executive committees for quality
Develops and delivers rich educational programming and communications to FQHCs on quality
Serve as SME on quality measurement and quality improvement
Manages Quality Program staff and vendors, as needed
 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or advanced proven experience in healthcare quality measurement and compliance.
5-8 years progressive management experience in healthcare, preferably within a health plan, or community health/outpatient setting.
Strong understanding of quality compliance requirements.
Proven expertise/accuracy in healthcare data analysis.
Proven success in collaborating with clinical stakeholders.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced start-up environment.
A strong commitment to the organization's mission.
