Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers earn a competitive starting wage of $14/hour that goes up to $15.31/hour after training. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) / CAREGIVER

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver, you work hard to achieve our goal of inclusion for the individuals we serve. In our group home, you strive to create a fun, active, and engaging atmosphere. Your caregiving responsibilities include assisting in areas of daily living including showering, toileting, administering medications, feeding, cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. You also support their interests through outings and programs offered in the community and throughout the agency.

Most importantly, you build strong relationships with your clients and have fun! The connections you make are vital! You have come to see your clients as friends and rejoice in their success. Seeing your clients smile from the guidance, care, and compassion you show to them is priceless. In this human services position, you are energized by the dynamic team of people you work with and find the work of supporting people with disabilities in achieving their goals rewarding!

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years old or older
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (personal transportation preferred)
Acceptable criminal background check

WORK SCHEDULE

Shifts vary for our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers, but these positions are mainly 2nd shift and overnight positions. We also have overtime available!

COVID-19

We take the safety of our clients and employees seriously, so we go above and beyond by offering temporary extra care pay due to COVID-19. This means an additional $2/hour! Due to current events, we also have sent out meals and care packages for our staff. These little touches help with overtime hours during this short-staffed season.
